The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will be able to appropriately identify the needs of both new and current customers in order to aid customers in their success within our sphere of influence. This will be done by developing an appropriate level of communication with clients and internal team members to better understand and mitigate any issues the customers may face, as well as to develop their ongoing marketing strategy. This is a relationship role; our relationships within the company and your relationships with our clients are the most important parts of what we do.

Responsibilities

  • You’ll be the primary point of contact for marketing agency clients, primarily in the automotive industry
  • Your time will be spent liaising with clients on their monthly and quarterly marketing plans, developing strategy, and working alongside our production team
  • Be able to provide recommendations based on performance of marketing campaigns: advertising, SEO, content marketing, etc.
  • Be able to explain the strategy behind work completed and work planned; showing value and getting our client partners excited
  • Understand the current automotive landscape as it relates to individual clients and their needs
  • Ask questions & provide insights on in-house marketing activities, gather information, and become a beacon of trust for our dealership partners
  • Be present for incoming client calls, field incoming client questions and support requests alongside team support inbox
  • Review monthly client reporting (internally & with clients)
  • Set client meeting schedules & attend all client meetings
  • Meet with the production team to create client marketing strategies
  • Build relationships with clients to understand their personalities and preferences
  • Setting up incoming client marketing & website projects in project management software (Asana)
  • Understand proprietary client information & maintain confidentiality
  • Work cross-functionally within the company to communicate with all stakeholders in customers' success
  • Tech-inclined: be willing and able to learn, understand, and execute changes on our proprietary website technology (training provided)
  • Have a basic understanding of web analytics, design, advertising, SEO, and general marketing best practices in order to work alongside our production team
  • Be able to surprise and delight clients with customized gifts, insightful messages, and sharing of learning material, etc.
  • Present yourself and the company in a professional and integrity-focused manner that represents our core values
  • Reports directly to Director of Demand Generation & CEO

Qualifications

  • Previous account management and/or marketing experience an asset
  • Automotive industry experience an asset but not necessary
  • Understanding of business best practices and appropriate autonomy as it relates to client handling methods
  • Canadian applicants only at this time, greater Niagara (Ontario) Region preferred
  • Willingness and ability to travel for conference attendance (North America)
