Over the last 15 years building FlexDealer, I’m proud of the work we’ve accomplished in seeing ahead of the curve and influencing the direction of the market. For example, we were one of the first automotive website companies to include a robust and reliable inventory management system in our offering. Today, that inventory system is capable of ingesting thousands of inventory data points, normalizing the data, and giving power to the dealer to send accurate inventory information to thousands of 3rd parties.

10 years ago, I observed the need for more real talk in the industry and started The Dealer Playbook podcast. The goal was to make meaningful conversations more accessible to the dealer body. Today, the show reaches retail automobile industry professionals in 70 countries.

FlexDealer has also been among the first automotive technology companies to become an official Trusted Partner in Google’s Vehicle Ad Program, offering exciting new digital marketing opportunities to our client partners that will help place them head and shoulders above the competition.

Lastly, when Google announced the move from their Universal Analytics product to Google Analytics 4 (GA4), we quickly added the tracking to our client sites so that they’d have enough historical data once Google finalized the switch. Our clients will enjoy more historical data than any other dealers around the world.

This month, I’m extremely excited to announce that FlexDealer is a founding member of the Automotive Standards Council for GA4, an initiative created by Brian Pasch as a way to unify the reporting of vendors across the global automotive industry. The significance of this initiative is a massive step forward in ensuring that the dealer’s data is accurate and standardized. As a founding member, we have a seat at the table to shape the direction of website standards — the first in Canada, and one of the first in the United States, to do so.

We are committed to continuing this trend. We are constantly looking toward the horizon to understand how we can best serve our client partners and the automotive industry at large.
